McCarney, Sadie
Sadie McCarney is a 17-year-old senior at Annapolis West Education Centre, in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia, Canada. Her past honors have included the 2006 Elizabeth Bishop Prize for Fiction, the Leonard Milberg ‘53 Poetry Prize from Princeton University, and the Norman Hidden Prize from the U.K.’s Poetry Society. Sadie has a piece forthcoming in Polyphony HS and is currently at work on a first book.
